Go Selfless!

Selfless- a 8 letter word that is hardly seen in the hearts of the people today..
Going up to an extent that you have never been to for each other is selfless..

This world would make a better place if ‘SELFLESS LOVE’ existed.
Its too much of selfishness that is in our lives today.
Its abt what i want, what i need to eat, what i need to look good in,my looks, my wardrobe, my needs, my career, my life and goes on and on…blah blah blah..
Cmon, what are we gaining by looking unto our own??? Why is there so much war and violence?
Why is there so much jealousy? Why are so many self-centered? Why is there no giving??
In all these years of my life so far, I jus learnt to give as much as possible in a relationship..be it any relationship not neccessarily lovers or couples, but also parents, friends, brothers, sisters etc.,..

Give as much love as you can to a friend even if there’s not much love from the other end, even if there’s not much commitment for the important term ‘friendship’, even if you don’t get calls or sms.. jus give your love..pray for your friend..do as much as u can evryday for a friend.. Its purely amazing..
Your heart starts lighting up with joy, when there is so much giving.
Its true that selfless love hurts when there is total ignorance from the other end..
But its all worth it, The Lord rewards it amazingly.

JESUS is the best example of SELFLESS LOVE..
He died on the cross for you and me.. Would anyone die for u? Isn’t that so selfless?
Jesus loved his enemies.. would anyone love a person who hates u? And that’s what we should be like.
Love people who don’t like you by loving them with the love of Jesus.. I have tried it.. its really a gud feeling..Gives inner peace and contentment!

When i think about the word ‘SELFLESS’, my eyes jus widen up so wide and bright……..
as a flash of all the people come across my mind who are so ‘SELFLESS’..

Mother Teresa, a noble woman who jus blew us away with her SELFLESS LOVE.. abundance of love..
her heart just overflowed for the poor and needy..
She said:
Do not think that love, in order to be genuine, has to be extraordinary. What we need is to love without getting tired.

And whenever i think about getting hurt(when there is no reciprocation) while loving a person abundantly… immeasurably..
her quote jus comes across my mind..

I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love.

Its all about SELFLESS LOVE!

I don’t think there should be room in our hearts to get hurt..but jus give room for growing love!!!
As humans, we tend to get hurt.. But the grace of the Lord suffices..
and makes us love the person more and more

The next kind of people who exhibit selfless love are the firemen and the armymen.
The firemen risk their own lives for saving people.. and the armymen risk their own lives for saving their nation.
I have huge respect for them cos of their impeccable humility and their willingness to serve selflessly.
I believe that God has laid up crowns for these folks.. They are jus marvellous!
Its all about SELFLESS LOVE!

Sometimes the little moments of life are like the most joyful memories that stay in my heart!
Dad and Mum are like the most selfless people.. it doesn’t exist in all families!
But i have seen it so much in my family.. They always want the best for us!
I have learnt so much from them and dream of being like them in this aspect one day!
Again, Its all about SELFLESS LOVE!

One of my close friends, very endearing to me.. kitty.. who i’ve known for almost 5 years and have known her for her selfless nature..
One thing that i noticed in her is about giving gifts on people’s bdays.. She gives so much being a Pastor’s kid..
With the little money she has, She makes the others feel so special and i’ve learnt so much from her..
And again, Its all about SELFLESS LOVE!

I have jus taken few examples and i know its such a blessing to see people who display selfless love.
Its all about giving.. giving and giving.. Perfectly breath-taking.. when you give so much..
You jus can’t believe it and its like this feeling that youv’e let go off your burdens from yourself when you give..

Even if we go thru hassles of life.. we don’t think about our problems when we give.. when we show love to others.. Its beautiful!

So start being selfless if you haven’t started..It’s worth it!

There isn’t much better in this life than finding a way to spend a few hours in conversation with people you respect and love.
You have to carve this time out of your life because you aren’t really living without it.
