This song sung by Newsboys has touched me immensely this week.
Mark Stuart from ‘Audio Adrenaline’ who is a part of ‘Hands and Feet project’
wrote this song keeping in mind those who have lost their lives in the 2010 Haiti earthquake.
On the other hand, this song can be applied to most situations in our lives.
Its a song of redemption and fresh lease of life in Jesus.

Without Hope, we falter.
Jesus gives us a hope that will never falter..

Addictions makes life crumble.. hearts get crushed in relationships.. Yet He builds us back.
Getting through an exam, interview, coming out of a wrong relationship, losing a loved one, fear of the future, unfulfilled dreams and desires, forgiving someone whose hurt you etc., might not be the easiest situations in life for some of us.
Yet He gives us a hope that we will get through all of it…
God is awesome and His power is immense..
He redeems us through His precious blood
Restores lives
Heals wounds
Scars are a testimony
The heart gets bruised yet He gives us an unending hope clubbed along with a new heart!
Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, His unfailing love remains!!!
Where can we find an awesome God like this???

Most of us went through these circumstances in our lives where we just lost hope, we fell down and He picked us up.
He knows our frame and knows that we are prone to making mistakes..Yet He builds us back when we fall at His feet!
We thought- we were nothing cos of our mistakes yet He gave us a ‘value’ and ‘Identity’ in Him- considers us ‘precious’!
We almost gave up on our lives yet He gave us a brand new hope in Him!
All He longs from us is to cuddle up in His arms, live a life that pleases Him by obeying His word.
His promises never fail, they are sacred and are for a lifetime!

Isaiah 42:3-4 says
A bruised reed he will not break,
   and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out.
In faithfulness he will bring forth justice;
 he will not falter or be discouraged
till he establishes justice on earth.
   In his teaching the islands will put their hope.

When life seems dreary, topsy-turvy and everything around you grows dim, He builds us back with an everlasting Hope.
When you feel that the wick of a candle is about to go.. He doesn’t leave us empty handed!
The best part of these ‘tides’ is that we are humbled and Humility portrays our saviour in our lives!

Isaiah 40:31 says
Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

We do go through desperate moments in our lives and God is there in those moments where we need Him the most
God has the best planned for us, so Hang in there!
